A transparent background becomes white
A JPG has no transparency, so any see-through area in your WebP is filled with white once it is a JPG. If you need the transparency kept, convert to PNG instead — either way the tool tells you underneath the result whenever this happened.
An animated WebP becomes one still frame
If your WebP is animated, the JPG keeps only its first frame — a JPG holds a single image, not an animation. The tool says so underneath the result; a still WebP has nothing to lose.
