SBI form photo and signature size
Every State Bank of India online application — PO, Clerk, SO and the rest — makes you upload a scanned photograph and a scanned signature, each at a fixed size. The upload box checks the pixels, the file type and the number of kilobytes, and rejects anything outside the range, usually without saying which rule you broke. The numbers below are the ones SBI notices publish; get all three right for each file and the upload goes through first time.
What photo and signature size does an SBI form need?

How to make each file
- Take or scan the photo and signature separately, in good even light, and save each as a JPG.
- Open the exam-photo tool for the photograph: it crops to the 200 × 230 shape, sets the exact pixels, and compresses to land inside 20–50 KB in one press.
- Open the signature tool for the signature: it does the same to the 140 × 60 shape and the 10–20 KB band.
- Download each file and upload it to the SBI form. Nothing is sent anywhere by the tool — the whole job runs in your browser.
Are these numbers exact?
These are the sizes SBI recruitment notices commonly state, but SBI restates the photo and signature specification in each advertisement, and it can differ slightly between posts. Always open the notification PDF for the exact post you are applying to and confirm the pixels and KB there before you upload.
