NEET photo, signature and document sizes
The NEET application, run by the National Testing Agency, asks for several scanned files at once — a passport photograph, a postcard-size photograph, a signature, and usually a left-hand thumb impression — each as a JPG inside its own kilobyte band. Unlike a passport form there is no single size to hit; each file has its own, and the box rejects any that miss. The commonly published bands are below, with the tool that makes each.

How to make each file
- Scan or photograph each item separately on a plain white background and save it as a JPG.
- For a file that only sets a KB band (the passport photo, signature and thumb impression), send it through the image compressor and give it the top of the band — it finds the sharpest version that still fits.
- For the postcard photo, set the 4 × 6 inch shape in resize & crop first, then compress it to land inside 10–200 KB.
- Download each file and upload it to the NEET form. Every step runs on your own device.
Are these numbers exact?
NEET requirements are set fresh each year in the NTA Information Bulletin, and both the sizes and the exact list of documents change between sessions.
